The History

The Westland Corporation was founded in 2015. Since its inception, The Westland team strives to work hard for its clients by adding value their grain and feed marketing needs by providing a window of transparency to the local and broader geographical markets that surround them. Westland has helped our clients buy and sell grain in Ontario, Michigan and New York. We work towards excellent client service and profitability for both parties. Westland’s daily market report provides insight and examines the factors that are effecting the grain prices, notable news in the grain market and much more. We will continue to bring buyers and sellers of grain together for many years to come!

The Team

Brock Lowry
Owner/Founder

Brock was raised on his family farm outside of Ripley, Ontario. Brock’s passion for agriculture started at an early age and continued through his post secondary education at The University of Guelph where he studied Agriculture. Brock has spent several years working within the grain trade, starting in operations at his family owned, licensed elevator and later working as a logistics/trading personal, buying, selling and hedging commodities and forex with Lowry Grain Farms Ltd and then with Parrish & Heimbecker Ltd in Mississauga, Ontario.

Airianna Murdoch-Fyke
In-house Economist

Airianna was born and raised in Bruce County and loves being surrounded by nature. She graduated from the University of Ottawa with a degree in Economics and Political Science and in 2021, Airianna received her law degree from the University of Ottawa. Airianna is currently subcontracted by The Westland Corporation as an Economist.



Brad Hand
Office Administrator

Brad comes from a financial background previously working for the Royal Bank of Canada based in Toronto, ON before moving to the Kincardine area. Brad has worked for local businesses, assisting fast pace operations in an efficient manner in their finance departments. Brad is an active person in the local community and spends his time with volunteer work. Brad is an outstanding individual and strives for perfection.

Blair Pollock
Grain Broker

Blair was raised on a family dairy farm just outside of Ripley, Ontario. From there he explored journalism in post-secondary education, before settling in on a career in secondary school education. Always keeping a keen eye on the world of agriculture, Blair found his way to The Westland Corporation, to help support the daily, quality service and insight that Westland delivers.
